Life is complicated. Life is hard. 

These are phrases I heard so many times.  

I respectfully disagree.  

Sometimes life can become complicated

Sometimes life feels hard

Life is full of wonderful memories

Life brings you to your knees,

Only to help you back up again.

This one life is mine and I get to define it 

I hurt within the pressure of the mores of society 

My experiences so far have taught me much

Exposed me to the lies that I have chosen to live

My truth is Just looking for a love that feels with the heart and is brave

Enough to embrace this love without apology to anyone. 

This will mirror a love that I will forever be loyal.  

A love that will be unconditional

because I believe that when I love someone

I accept them as they are, not how I want them to be

They should never have to change to make me happy.

I am the only one that changes to make myself happy

I find in this world today I do not fit because of my values.

Taking the time to reach for that hand to hold, instead of a phone

Taking the time to embrace the arms that want to hold you. 

Seize a moment to share with me how your really feel before I am 

gone evermore.

Lift your head up,  Really see me and I will see you.
